I have been in the hat trade for quite a few decades...and if anyone is any doubt...Boon and Lane (Steve and Al) make the most durable and accurate (best) hat blocks in the World...they understand
fitting..material to be blocked and all the other stuff we just take for granted..Don't waste your money on anyone else. -
Great blocks. Just need to decide which ones.
Noticed a picture with Mary Jane Baxter in it. I met her by chance in a London store. It is a small world. Thanks for the impromptu tour. -

WOW that was fast. I was expecting to get a notice that they
were on their way, but not one that they would be here. They are
lovely…im so excited I cant begin to tell you. Of course the fedora
is amazing and the guys will love it…the percher…wow, Im almost
afraid to use the block its just so pretty and so pristine. As always

Alan and Steve are two incredible craftsmen. Their blocks both in metal and wood - made the old fashioned way, using steady hands and sharp eyes are works of art, with their skills of interpretation
showing no limits.
I love their workshop full of old blocks, inspiration with a touch of sawdust. It reeks of heart and soul. Two wonderful guys doing amazing work! -
Please tell Allan I am so pleased with the little top hat section block. The brim is sleek and top just the size I wanted.

This 28 March - 3 weeks after my order - in the grey Paris’s morning day I’d received my first block from Boon & Lane and when I’d seen it, I’ve seen « la vie en rose ». I never imagine
that a block can be exactly the shape I’d in my head because it’s a special order. But also it’s a very beautiful piece of art. The wood, the signature, the logo, my name on it… all is « haute
couture ». To work with it will be a great pleasure and help me to do hats so beautiful as my block. -
